I agree with your doc - the measurements can't capture everything. My

daughter had appointments every 2 or 3 weeks. She had some growth at

each visit, but the amount varried. Her first few appointments

(starting at age 5 mo) the growth was more, then it slowed down a

bit. But surprisingly she had another big spurt around 8 1/2 mo, which

you wouldn't necessarily expect.

All kids are different so you have to just wait and see. Hopefully you

will continue to see progress over time even if some weeks there isn't

much change.
