Guest guest
I would still place him on his back until he can roll over and want to sleep on his stomach by that point he can roll out of trouble if he needs too. I always just put Lily on her back with the band and she just started last week (after being in it for a month and a half) rolling in the night and sleeping on her stomach. Since he is wearing the band in his sleep anyways it shouldn't matter that he likes his back still...since the band is on it still continuing to mold even if he's on his back. Hope this helps.anjeseufert <anjeseufert@...> wrote: Hi, I am new to this group, just got Tyler's band last week. He is 6 mos old with moderate-severe plagio. all is well so far. I put memory foam over his crib mattress as he was waking up alot the first 2 nights which has helped. He only wants to sleep on his back and always has since day 1 (though we tried side sleeping dilegently before the band). I tried to put him on his tummy for nap yesterday and he pushed straight up and rolled over! He is hardly ever on his back during wake time. He is starting to sit up a little on his own now and I have him in exersaucer, bumbo, tummy, or in a sling during the day. Just don't know how important it is at this point to have him sleep OFF of his back now that we have him in a band. The therapist at cranio tech can't legally tell me to place him in any other position to sleep other than his back. Anyone have an answer based upon their own experience and results with their own baby?thanks so much,Anje Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
