Guest guest
Hey ladies. Just wondering if any of you have gone to the Dr. and he/she told you that you were measuring bigger than you actually were??? I went today and he said I'm measuring 30 weeks, but I'm only 25 so they will be doing an u/s to see what's up. Also, did any of you have gestational diabetes? If so how did they treat it and was your baby bigger than normal?? Tammy

Guest guest
I was borderline gestational diabetic, and my daughter ended up 10lbs 3oz and 23 1/2 inches long!!!! I had c-sections with both of my girls, and I remember laying on the operating table as they were opening me up, the nurse behind me was talking about a woman that delivered a 10 lb baby, I turned my head and told my husband " oh my gosh, I can't imagine having a 10 lb baby! " and there she came out 10lb 3!!! lol I didn't have to do insulin or anything thankgoodness, they just put me on a restrictive diet (pre surgery)
Guest guest
, did they have any idea that the baby was going to weigh that much? If so how come they didn't want to induce. Gosh I don't want that big of a baby, but hey I'll take what I can get just as long as my baby girl is healthy. Guest guest
NO they had no idea the baby was that huge!! my doctor thought MAYBE 9lbs at the most, I delivered about a week early because he didn't want it to get to big, I can't imagine what she would have weighed if they left her in the last week lol yep that's ALL that matters is that she's healthy Re: measuring big , did they have any idea that the baby was going to weigh that much?
