Re: back sleeping with band

He can sleep any way he likes while in the band. The band keeps the

pressure off the flat area of his head, so it won't hurt if he's

resting on that part. My daughter had severe brachy (flat in back)

from sleeping on her back - and she got great correction in her band

while sleeping the same way. I did switch her to side sleeping by the

time the band was off, but that was months later.

That is one good thing about banding - you don't have to worry about

sleep position. staying up all night trying to keep your baby off

his/her flat spot is no fun.

Thanks for the responses and reassurance. He sleeps great on his

back now and I just didn't want to try another new things right now!

Will check back in to touch base in the future. Glad this group

exists!
