From what I can gather and I have never been to the USA but have my own

personal opinion. America tends to eat out a lot. The eat out portions

are huge and always served with fries on the side. Eating out is a way of

life and most of the food is fast and fatty, correct me here if I am wrong.

Americans tend to eat out three or four nights a week.

Australia is becoming very Americanised. We have a Mcs on every

street corner and most of the food at the supermarket is processed heavily

with fat or sugar. On average we are not as big as American obese people.

Anyone over about 160 kilos is considered an oddity. Most people are

around the 100-150 kilo range. That is changing though.

This is my personal view and is not intended to have a go at Americans.
