Guest guest
Hi all, hope everyone is finding some joy in life today. Today was the first time I ever left work early because of a sickness. I went to work knowing I had a hard time swallowing. I felt like some was trip in my throat. I started getting light headed and dizzy. I ended up going to the ER. They gave me another EKG(normal)My blood pressure was 145/98. They said was getting too stressed out. SO I went to my doctor later in the day. She order a Throat scan to see if it is Chiari related. What a mess! I have a question. I got the transcript papers back from my neurosurgent. On it it says the tonsils of the cerebellum extend approximately 50mm below the foramen magnum. What does this mean? And all the presence of tonsillar displacement by 15mm. Can anyone one give me more information on this and what it means. What can I exspect from going to Hopkins Hospital? Any information would be helpful.
