I have been flaring throughout the winter, as usual, but this year I got new symptoms. Couldn't seem to get any oxygen out of the air I was breathing, would nearly pass out getting from my room to the kitchen which is less than 50 ft. distant. Very scary, and couldn't sleep because I couldn't breathe, even when propped up on pillows. Went to the doc, got a chests xray, and they found fluid around the lining of my lungs, and that my heart was enlarged. I didn't have high BP, or swelling anywhere else that was obvious, but they put me on nightly diuretics, so now I can breathe, but I can't sleep because I am up all night peeing!
