Points used in the points allowance (the 35) are probably spent differently on one plan than the other. It's just difficult to evaluate a plan after just a couple of days. That said, there are no Weight Watchers police. If someone tries one plan and decides they just cannot live with it, then if they switch, I don't believe there's a penalty assessed! Guest guest
That is a good question. I guess because the basis of the two plans are different. With Flex you count points and from what I understand the Core program you don't. So if a person goes from counting to not counting to counting again a person might get confused. I know I will need to keep with the flex plan because I need to count. e Switching from Core to Flex and back again The WW website says, " Regardless of which food plan you choose, we'd like you to follow it for one full week. If, at any time, your lifestyle needs or your food preferences call for a change, or if you feel that the plan you're following might not be the " best fit " for you, change to the other plan. Weight Watchers Online will help guide you through the decision to change to the other food plan if and when you're ready. " Can I switch from Core to Flex and back again during the week? Why do I have to choose one plan to stick with for the whole week? I'm not trying to be ornery, but just wonder if I could switch during the week. Guest guest
I think it would be impossible to track your results if you go back and forth. I heard you can do the core plan one week and go back to flex points the next. I don't think I want things that complicated, myself. One or the other, not both for me. But Weight Watchers is all about flexibility within the plans so I imagine that they have gone through some research (which I would love to look at that explains why one is successful over the other - and - is there a pattern in the personality type or behavior type that likes one over the other? But I'm sure I'll never have access to it. I also think switching back and forth wouldn't work because with one you only track the 35 non core points, and the other, you track everything. Since everything is set back to 35 once a week, I think it would be real complicated to figure out your points. Probably not the best explanation in the world, but you asked for our thoughts...
