Guest guest
Joan, my friend,I have a feeling that the cellulitis wasn't caused by the MTX. Yeah, once our immune systems start to become suppressed, we are more likely to get something-- but a simple spider bite can start cellulitis. I think what you discovered is that as time goes on-- the MTX will finally kick in more and more, bringing you less pain. It really does help. I'm so glad that it's helping== keep on dear one.Hugs,Tracie Hi Sweetie, I'm skimming through still over 500 e-mails ... man, I'll never get done! ...yes, I believe you are correct ... cellulitis infections were inevitable with these swollen legs anyway!, so I'm not going to blame the MTX on the cellulitis ... and now, I hope I'm wrong about the next problem I fear it may be causing .... although very, very, very happy about the pain relieving aspects of MTX, what does one do about stomach problems that I fear it may be causing? ... I lived with horrible GI problems for years, and I just don't want to go back there ... sniffle, sniffle. I must admit, I have not taken the med I used to take for my stomach, so I will try to re-introduce that med back into my very long med regime ... any other suggestions from any other stomach sufferers from MTX? Thanks very much!, Joan "I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."
