Guest guest
Hey all! I am new to this group, my 3 month old son Keenan has plagio with facial asymmetry and torticolis. His forehead is bulging out on the right side and the PT has suggested having him sleep on his Right side with his forehead into the mattress even though this turns him into his tort. I have been trying this with a sleep positioner and cannot get him to roll forward onto the forehead, he always rolls back onto his ear or the flat part of the back of his head. When he is on his left side he does the same roll back, but at least this position is not on a flat spot. I was thinking that I should keep him on his left side with a visco elastic wedge, but keep reading terrible reviews of kids wiggling down on them... Any advice?
