Guest guest
My son is 10 months old today. We'll have our helmet next Friday. Our friends at church adopted a little girl from China. She was the same - very flat head in the back. (Very small as well.) A lot of it corrected just by being up. As a girl with longer hair, you can't tell if it's still flat. I wish you the best with the new baby, your banding experience and insurance. > > Well, we go tomorrow to CT for the scan. We should have the band on the 25th. I am nervous! We adopted our son from Guatemala and he just came home on March 6th. So far, we have just been adjusting to each other and the new routine. Things have been going well so far, so I am a bit anxious about putting him into the band. Especially since I have not had much experience with him yet! Anyway, we believe it is the right thing to do. He apparently spent most of his time in foster care on his back. The back of his head is very flat. We are hoping the band will work and round out his head. He is 10 months old. They estimate he will have to wear it for 10 weeks. I look forward to the day when I can say it is off! > > We have UHC, and they are not covering it. Thanks to all who have given us tips on how to appeal w/UHC and for all the tips on decorating. We will definitely be using the advice! > > > - Ray, 10 months waiting for the band > > __________________________________________________ >
