Guest guest
My husband and I are excited we're FINALLY seeing the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Texas Children's Hospital tomorrow for our daughter's head. She has macrocephaly, brachycephaly, and plagiocephaly. Her head is so large that she has already had a CT scan and ultrasound to rule out hydrocephalus. Thank God her brain is normal and her head is just big and badly shaped. I'm scared to death of what the NS will tell us tomorrow. Any possibility any of these children have to have surgery on their skulls? Should I not stress about that? The casting looks awful. Is it better to bring my sister along and have her help with the casting? I will probably be crying harder than the baby, and that will only make her more upset. So many questions, so little time. Any advice you can give us, as we prepare to start the journey to a better head? She's almost 7 months old. Thanks in advance!
