Guest guest
Hi all, My 5 year old autistic son, Josh has many behavior problems, tantrums, hyperactivity and lack of sleep. (of course we use ABA but it's just not sufficient and we don't have any help) His doctor is recommending we try risperdal. We've already tried SRI's and adderal. Both had too many side effects. He's been on Clonidine for almost 2 years, and it use to work very nicely, but he seem to have developed a tolerance. When we increased the dose, he developed severe ticks (very surprising since this med is used to control ticks!) I'd appreciated any feedback on your experiences with Risperdal. Much thanks. Guest guest
Hi Jean, I do not know of this medicine but I wanted to ask if you had heard of Craniosacral therapy. It is a complementary type of science. What I love about it is that it is noninvasive. If you wish to get more info please write back. It has certainly addressed many of my sons similar behaviors.
