Guest guest
My daughter has a Hanger helmet and has worn it for more than 3 months. Her cheeks and forehead have always been pretty red, but the redness goes away within the hour. We had the ortho shave some off the helmet in those areas, which helped. He mentioned however that he couldn't take off a lot since the helmet would start moving around and not stay in place. We checked with our pediatrician and he said that this is nothing to worry about. It won't hurt her cheeks or do permanent damage and as long as it doesn't hurt her (which it doesn't), she can continue to wear it like this. The helmet also pushes on one of her eyes sometimes, mostly when she is on her belly or crawling around, but again, everybody has told us not to worry about that since it can't do damage to her eye or anything else. However, we have always been told that the redness needs to go away or almost disappear within the hour off and if it doesn't to come in for an adjustment. So it sounds like one is needed for your daughter. You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.
