Guest guest
., So glad you got a grip again., sometimes it's so hard and we forget to look how well we have done so far and learn to accept ourselves for where we are on the lifestyle change... I so admire you.... 61 pounds gone that's a 3rd grader.... It's a long road at times... but you can do it.... just sharing helps a bunch too.... Deep breath., we all have " ack " moments., we have to learn to drop the guilt and move forward.. You can do it. Thea Hi, all: Things here have been busier than usual in my life, and we've been traveling for the past two weekends (Pittsburgh over Labor Day, Lexington this past weekend). I'm kind of a homebody in the sense that I NEED downtime at home in order to recharge. Well, on Friday, I just wanted to chuck it all. I got so sick of not being able to eat whatever I wanted (and in LARGE quantities). I have been religiously on program since February 1, and I don't feel I'm the type of person who can go off program one day and hop back on the next without any problems. I treat WW like a 12-step program--one day at a time and I must absolutely adhere to it for that day. I didn't give in to my frustrations, but I came way too close to the line for my comfort. I made the smart decision for dinner at the Italian restaurant we chose--linguine with red clam sauce, and I scooped out at least a cup of the linguine so I wouldn't eat the entire portion they gave me. Then I went to back to the hotel and woke up the next morning feeling better able to tackle my day. I stayed on program the whole weekend, and we have no plans to travel until Thanksgiving. I feel motivated and fine right now, but I'm still scared about my near fall off program. Can anyone give me advice on how they recharge when they feel themselves losing their grip on the program?
