Guest guest
Hey girls!! My name is and I am Mom to Maddison, 16 months with RSS. We seem to have a lot less problems than most people here so far. But I have thought of regular questions for you all with old RSS kids. For example, since RSS kids are a lot smaller when is it time to come out of a crib and feel safe?! Also, Maddison is not on a feeding tube of any kind so she gets all of her Pediasure from the bottle still. She will only take it in a bottle. She drinks tea from a sippy cup. We have tried to get her to take the Pediasure from a sippy cup but it isn't happening. Also I have recently started waking her up at night to give her a bottle because I have learned about hypoglycemia from the group and she is half asleep then and I give her the bottle then. When have some of everyones childred come off a bottle? Our dentist of course said to get her off the bottle but she doesn't realize that she will not take the Pediasure any other way and we have to have all of it we can get in her. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't thinks it would be hard at all to take her off the bottle accept for the huge fact that it is where she gets all her Pediasure so what do you do?(well maybe accept at bedtime. Also another problem we have is that she has to fall asleep with the bottle in her mouth or she doesn't go to sleep. There is no rocking her to sleep, she screams bloody murder. Do any of your childred still do this? But in a way it is good sometimes because she usually takes a good bit of the Pediasure when she is almost asleep, so its like there is no winning because she needs all she can get.!! Sorry I skip around so much, my thoughts get ahead of me. If anyone has ANY suggestions or comments or stories please feel free to respond, don't be affraid to be honest, I know this is mostly my fault for turning things into habits. and Maddison (16 mon) Also we are going the Magic convention for the first time, I am looking forward to meeting everyone. Although I haven't been good at learning who is mom to who and being able to remember what is going on in everyones situation I look forward to meeting everyone.
