Guest guest
Our STARband out of Oakland, CA was $2,800. I have heard of the bands costing anywhere from $1,500 to $3,300 depending upon the type of band and where it is made (i.e., a STARband in CA might be more expensive than one from Ohio because of the higher cost of living). Who do you have for insurance? With our insurance company (Kaiser) the band was considered to be Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and the particular plan that we had covered DME at 80%. As I have posted before, I really do not know if we are to the point of needing a helmet or not? And I am not totally sure if Kaylie's asymmetry in her face is from plagio or tort. Her appointment is Tuesday, but me being such a planner was wondering if we are led in the helmet direction, how much do they typically cost? I haven't checked with insurance yet to see if it is covered, but just wondered incase it isn't how much we might pay for the helmet, adjustments etc. Thanks alot! You all have made this so much easier already. & Kaylie 4 months
