Guest guest
Hi Holly. I have started having the same sensation over the last few days. I haven't had a proper bowel motion in 4 days so maybe it is to do with constipation. I also get severe discomfort in the same area after eating or drinking anything. Carmel. > > The day I started SCD, I had a near constant flutter/twitch on the left side of my abdomen, just under the ribcage. It didn't hurt or anything, it just wiggled away (you could visibly see the skin jumping around). This went on for at least a week before it started to decrease, and then finally disappeared at around two weeks. > > Well, it's back. It's not constant this time, it just jumps around every now and then. Does anyone possibly know what this could be? Has anyone had a similar symptom? > > Holly > Crohn's > SCD 12/01/08 >

Guest guest
Well, I guess I'm not alone then . My constipation issues are mostly under control...at the moment. But every time I think I'm " cured " , it comes back and bites me, so I'm always kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. My little flutter isn't painful or uncomfortable, it's actually more of a little " tickle " . Carmel, do you have UC or crohn's? Do you think you have some narrow spots? Guest guest
Hi Holly. I have been diagnosed with Sucrase Isomaltase Defiency and fructose malabsorption, but unfortunately staying away from sucrose, starch and fructose has not been enough to get me well again. I have had gastroscopies done but not a colonoscopy and am not sure about narrow spots. Do you have to have diarrhea to have UC or crohns? At the moment I have no idea what is causing my symptoms and my doctor is at a loss too. I am trying everything I can think of. At the moment I am trying L-Glutamine (started today). I am only eating chicken and broth and am losing weight, so I really hope it works. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for L-Glutamine to start working? Many thanks, Carmel > > > > > > The day I started SCD, I had a near constant flutter/twitch on the left side of my abdomen, just under the ribcage.
