Guest guest
A great day in gluten free Finland! Had TONS of running to do today. Had to get the registrations and plates (and inspections) on the vehicles, all went smoothly there. Then off to get MY RESIDENCY STAMP! Whoo HOO! And off to KELA office to pick up my social benefits card. Also found out that International Paper is looking for English speaking computer nerd to temp thru the fall, so heading there wed... Went to the euro store (same as dollar stores in the US) and picked up goodies for the grandaughter and some other dumb stuff like clothespins and paper plates. ANYWAY, we get done with chores and notice a Rosso's on the corner. The Finnish Celiac society told me they had a gluten free menu.... AND BOY HOWDY DO THEY EVER! 48, yes 48! entrees to choose from including 10 different style of pizza and of course unlimited topping choices! Chicken, steaks, vegetarian dishes, I could go on for DAYS! Of these 35 were also available lactose free of desired! YES! I am in heaven! Had a great dinner on the terrace, stopped at the garden center on the way home, and got a bunch of flowers. Went to the grocery and found GLUTEN FREE OREOS! Anyhow, got my flowers planted, ate the rest of my GF pizza poured a big glass of milk and ate half the box of oreos! Will catch up with you all tomorrow. Been trying to get the house together now that the houseguest parade has stopped for a few days... Looks like its going to start again thursday tho.... sigh. Saturday is my day, my girlfriend and I made plans to go shopping, have dinner and a couple cocktails and take the taxi home!Have a great gluten free day!Best!CassiGluten free in downtown Imatra!
