Enough calories?

Heres a general outline of my diet (don't freak, I know it's really

fruit-laden and harsh sounding, but I'm getting there). I was just

wondering if this is enough calories if I want to be 100 lbs.

1/2 lemon squeezed in water

about 1/2 cup of applesauce with 1 tbsp of coconut oil

about 3/4 cup of dripped goat milk yogurt

about 1.5 muffins

1 hard boiled egg

Salad containing::

4 slices of roasted chicken

1/4 a deseeded cucumber

hunk of cheese about the size of my thumb

homemade olive oil & ac vinegar salad dressing

Jello (equalling about 1 cup of juice and 2 packets of gelatin)

1.5 muffins

Smoothie containing::

1-2 bananas (depending on size)

1/2 avocado

about 3/4 cup dripped goat yogurt

1-2 coconut milk ice cubes

about 1 cup of juice

2-3 cups of water

a few large handfuls of either spinach or baby lettuce

1/2 lemon squeezed in water, sometimes with a spash of juice

*sometimes I will eat a snack between my smoothie and dinner, usually

a hard boiled egg*

Dinner, for example::

a fish fillet (34 grams of protein in it, not sure how big it was

meant to mention this to you go to fitday.com that's how I've always tracked my

3000 a day - i've been as high as 3100 and today I did it and it was 2860 - I

just go once in a while when diet changes - if ou have yeast yes you need to cut

back juice and fruits it was very hard but replace with other stuff - I'll give

you what I ate- only different now due to yeast

this is per day

3 bananas

1 steak 1-1.25 lb

pecan butter

3 eggs

Woohoo! I entered my sample menu into that site and it said I was getting 3,545 calories!!! Yay! And I put in that I was 100 lbs (my goal) and that I had "seated work" (the activity levels were weird...) and it said I was only burning 2, 195. So I should gain weight, right? Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa =DWoah! All that in ONE day!? LOL- Yes all in a day :-) I love food and I want to gain - wonder what I used to

get pre-scd ??I should try punching that in one day - also how did you tell it

you wanted to gain it wouldn't even accept my numbers since i'm underweight

What would your definition of healthy vs. unhealthy fats be? Then you have to add the calories for whatever weight gain you are aiming

for.

there's that word again -LOL! it never seemed to do much if and when I'd give

it a go here/there and cut out junk - helped a smidge i'd say but that's where i

carry the little amount of fat that I do carry - and part of me thanks GOD that

I had it- cause when I went down to 83 lbs i lived off it till it was gone-kept

me going - like a bear storing up -LOL but MAYBE i'll take a walk or something-

don't want to do much more and throw my body for a loop or burn too many

calories

Eileen,

If you feel healthy enough to excersize like taking a walk. TAKE A WALK! It is

so good for you. Your lungs, your muscles among many other things. Not

everything is about weight. Take some electrolyte water with you. You will see

that your thighs will get muscular. At this point you have been stationary for

so long. You know this also does not help the disease or the immune system at

all.

The way your body needs to heal and pile on pounds is the way it needs to heal.

But it is also important to get moving a bit if you can! I hope to get to a

place of gentle working out. As I started feeling better on the SCD I made it

my business to take a walk every day. It was hard for me choosing between that

and kitchen time as that is an energy guzzler.

You know there is a major boost in brain chemicals when working out- that would

work directly with what you are doing!

thanks i was thinking it has to help everything else at least (besides the

burning calories) everything about walking is good and not that i'm stationary

-i guess the 4 kids make me burn more than i'd like - lol- but the computer does

make me sit more and cooking does waste time that could be walking - you're

right -oh is it ok to do being that i have low bp and irregular heartbeat now -

??

Ugh. I just figured out I entered my food in wrong for yesterday, so I didn't get as many calories as I thought. I wish I was fat!!!
