Guest guest
cea is one of 80 something autoimmune diseases, as is autoimmune Hashimoto's Disease and Grave's Disease (thyroid). I won't say some, I will say most thyroid patients have more than one autoimmune disease, even if in the future. That would include cea for some people. Two of my 4 children (2 daughters) have Hashimoto's, as I do. The middle daughter's first born son has cea. His mother also has the Hashi's AND Pseborrheic (Sp?) Dermatitis, which is also one of the autoimmune diseases, with antibodies, of course. My oldest daughter has Hashi's, but also has one of the other autoimmune skin disorders that I can't think of the name of right now, the one that makes the silvery fish scale look on the skin, for her around the eyelids, eyebrows, elbows, etc....She hasn't had an outbreak of this since she was 21 yrs old. Of course, she was diagnosed with thyroid disease at the age of 23, so Go Figure. I personally think they are ALL the SAME disease, with myriads of different antibodies. cea and thyroid disease > > > From reviewing the medical literature, it appears that rosacea is > something else that people with thyroid disease may have.
