Guest guest
Kelley I always feel the same yeast-related symptoms that are my early-warning when I've eaten too much of a "yeast trigger" food or a food that my digestion isn't coping with. My early warning symptoms were also the last of my yeast/candida-related symptoms to disappear during my 2-year long battle to get my candida overgrowth under control. So I pay attention, needless to say [grin]. Remember that my symptoms may not be the same as yours. I always get a sore throat but have no nasal or lung congestion; fluid buildup in my ears; white splotches on my tongue; the skin around my mouth gets very dry and chapped; and I start developing an itchy rash in one particular spot on my back. When I was coping with my major case of candida I also had a lot of other symptoms that disappeared before the ones I listed above, once I tweaked SCD to better eliminate yeast and to help my digestion work better. Things like excessive fatigue, muscle aches, thrush, vaginal infection, large areas of itchy rash, bladder discomfort (I have interstitial cystitis, so my bladder doesn't tolerate toxins too well). My body also rejected (and still rejects) antifungals, so I had to use food choices (and probiotics) to eliminate the candida overgrowth. Kim M.
