use table salt?

If the sea salt has iodine in it, probably the sea salt would be

better.

However, iodine is so critical to thyroid function that Elaine felt the

problem of the tiny amount of dextrose in table salt (which dextrose is

used as a binder to keep the iodine from sublimating and disappearing)

was outweighed by the benefits of the iodine.

I believe seaweed is illegal, but salt,( sodium chloride ), is not. However,

table salt with iodine in it is important for the thyroid. I don't know the

official word on table salt, but I believe someone posted here that it is needed

for thyroid health.
