My daughter has severe mood swings, and it comes in phases. For a

few days, she is the happiest kid around. Laughs alot, sometimes

manical, for no apparent reason we can see. Then afterwards, it

switches to being very upset, very tantrumy. Again, the switch has

no apperent reason. She can switch moods on a dime. Be happy,

something will set her off where she will self injure herself and

then five minutes latter be happy again. she was dx autistic and

trainable mentally handicapped.
