Guest guest
Just got the pre-authorization today. My 8-month-old boys are getting casted at CT in Paramus. My Mom is coming with me. What do I need to bring. Someone had mentioned playing peek-a-boo. Do their eyes get covered? If so, for how long? We have been doing a little peek-a-boo, but they only tolerate it for a few seconds. Should I tranquilize them (HaHa!!), or me!! One has moderate to severe plagio and head and facial asymmetry. All the Docs keep saying is they " usually " outgrow it, or it will be less obvious as their body size becomes more proportional to their heads. Well his flat spot has improved with repositioning, but the asymmetry has not. The other one has sort-of a cross between plagio and brachycephaly. His is moderate, with mild asymetry. He has reflux and a strong stubborn streak. Repo has had little success with him. I'm praying they get good correction. Anyone else with both twins banded? They tell me baby A is usually more severe-true in my case. Baby A has been getting PT through Early intervention for torticollis. He is doing very well. Baby B will start PT next month officially. The therapist has been helping me with him already as now he is slightly delayed. Also any tips on dressing them, care of helmets is appreciated. One guy usuallly has warm feet and hands and the other's are cold. Thanks for " listening " and any advice.
