Sooooo sorry to hear about the relatives with ALS. My Father in law had ALS> He was a airplane pilot and flew from age 15 til 10 months before he died at age 86. Other causes of ALS are heavy metals and a host of other things. What tests were these relatives given? Where did the ALS start - at the feet or in the respiratory tract? If anyone needs help with ALS, please feel free to contact me as I have had professional and personal experience with this as a daughter in law and speech language pathologist.
