Actually diflucan can become toxic over a period of time and it is only absorbed high up in the gut then circulates in the blood. It cannot reach all the yeast which lines the gut which makes it easy for yeast to grow back.Nystatin is not toxic nor absorbed. Nystatin travels through the gut and kills the yeast lining the inner gut. It works well for chronic and recurrent vaginal yeast infections.Nystatin can be taken long term where diflucan should not. i really may be losing it - first i'm forgetting my kids have been using that

cream since the first was born almost 10 years ago - constant yeast rashes on

the behinds here -and I even was told to use on breasts while breastfeeding -

but I think I just confused the LDN cream and the nystatin powder posssibly??? I

am officially braindead!!! sorry- but if there is a spot they do have cream for

specific areas

Is this a recent development? I was prescribed Diflucan for valley fever a few

years ago, and they told me I might have to take it forever. At 6 months, I was

tired of taking it and experimentally stopped it. The valley fever didn't pop

back up, so I didn't restart it again.

I was also told I would have to go back on it if I started taking

immunosuppresants, but I didn't, and so far *knock wood* haven't relapsed.

It's rather disconcerting to hear that Diflucan can do serious damage to a

person!

Please clarify, oil of oregano how is it taken 5 drops raw or diluted if diluted in what???

After 2 1/2 years on the diet and having tried all of the Candida killers like Nystatin, Caprylic products, etc. the best is Oil of Oregano. The N.D. author of the Cure in Your Cupboard has all kinds of everyday uses for it and says it is one of the most potent bacteria killers you can find. I now put drops in my soap dispenser for the kids and I'll give me son some when he has a sore throat - stops it right away. I SWEAR by it now when in a flare. I still must be battling yeast but can't give up honey completely or I loose too much weight. I use 5 drop x 3 day and you'll see results quickly. You can start up to 5 drops x 5 a day and taper down as you see results. I then use Bentonite clay in the am/pm to soak up the toxins and this works so well in conjunction with the diet.michelleCD 3 1/2 yrsSCD 2 1/2
