Guest guest
I sold a sling today (my group job for the local LLL) to an expectant couple I met at the local hospital's Lamaze class. I speak there about every two months. One of my favorite speels (sp?) for a sling in the winter is that people won't reach out and touch the baby when it is snuggled up close to you in the sling. This is especially valid to me in the winter months when the " bugs " are flying about. Amy Lynn, whose family all passed the flu around this week. > we spent most of the day today 'bumming'. Guest guest
Amy Lynn, That is a great point! I have a Maya Wrap that I have not used yet. (Luke is 8 weeks tommorrow). I am going to get it out and practice. I tried it earlier and I just could not get it to where I felt that his head was being supported enough. He was so little and floppy. His head control is better now and I think I just need to practice. It has been cold here and we were all sick so I was afraid to take him out of the carseat carrier where he was all cozily covered when we went somewhere. Yesterday we went to Toys R Us and a lady came up to Luke in his stroller, and touched his hand while she was talking to him. I got out a wipe and washed his hand after she left but that really bothered me and I hadn't thought about the sling. I will have to start using it more! - use my sling was Re: Huge weight gain I sold a sling today (my group job for the local LLL) to an expectant couple I met at the local hospital's Lamaze class.
