powdered vanilla vs. liquid vanilla

I asked this question awhile ago, but never received an answer, so I will ask

again...

What is the equivalent of powdered vanilla to the regular liquid vanilla

extract? If a recipe calls for 1/4 tsp. vanilla, how much powdered vanilla would

you use? Would it be the same?

I use the powder kind as if it were the same amount. I love vanilla and the

power is a little bit better tasting, just my opinion
