Guest guest
I had a book checked out from the library a while back that some of you may be interested in for fancy holiday deserts. It was called " Fabulous & flourless : 150 wheatless and dairy-free desserts : cakes, tarts, tortes, roulades, puddings, soufflés, cookies, and more " by Wachtel Mauksch. At the time, I couldn't use most of the recipes because they had a lot of eggs, I may have to check it out again, now that I am using eggs occasionally. Most of them used ground nuts or nut flours. Most of the cakes were the " beat egg whites till stiff " type batters...that is what made them fluffy. There were some REALLY rich sounding desserts in there...the kind that you hide from the kids and eat at midnight after they are in bed! Yes, I think I will have to check out that book again....
