Your DR doesn't understand this. First of all the uibc is the transferrin

ferritin ratio. http://www.dclchem.com/SL/UIBC.htm Next the ferritin is

still low. You need it double. Read iron at www.goodhormonehealth.com Do

you ever feel out of breath????

A low TIBc/low iron and low or normal ferritin suggests anaemia of

chronic disorders -ie the anaemia that goes along with thyroid

problems/arthritis/lupus/kidney problems etc etc etc - however the

ferritin is suggesting lowered iron stores so it is probably worthwhile

taking vitamin c with food to aid absorption of iron and/or a short

course of iron tablets

I get my Vitamins from Mother Earth Health Food Store. They include

Spirulina, Ginseng, etc. It's a very good Vitamin with food concentrates.
