Run/Walk

After hearing all this talk about incorporating running with their walkings,

I thought I would give it a try. I walk 2 miles almost every morning - I'm

satisfied if I get in 5 days a week (I am toying with the idea of bumping it

up to the next intersection on my " beat " making it 2.8 miles - but at 5:30

a.m. I am amazed I am doing 2 miles now) - anyway... this morning on my last

mile I tried it out. I can't remember the last time I really ran. It felt

weird and I was all out of breath after running a block, but it felt good.

I walked another block and then ran the next block. It felt good having to

huff and puff - it really woke my body up. Now mind you I will probably be

feeling it soon (meaning tired, not muscle sorness) and will have a hard

time keeping my eyes open - especially since it is really slow at work right

now. Oh today is going to be lonnnngggg day, but I feel good and that is

all that matters!!
