Guest guest
Welcome to the Group. Don't at all feel guilty. All in all the how banding experience is always harder on the parent then it is the child. I to have twins (boy/girl). My son was in a DOC band for 12 weeks for left plagio. He adjusted quickly and had no problems with the band. At your appointment they will take measurements on the boys and they will also take pictures.(at least this is how things went when I had my consultation) Don't be afraid to ask questions. Looking back at things, I wished I had asked more questions. I'm sure your boys will do great. Best of luck Lorie Mom to Spencer and Alizabeth 1 year Spencer- Left Plagio- DOC Band GRAD 9/07-12/07 Glendale, AZ [sPAM] New to the group with 3 1/2 month old twin boys seeing CT on Tuesday We have our first consult Tuesday afternoon with Cranial Tech in CT. We'll be seeing an occupational therapist for neck excercises and repositioning techniques. Elijah has plagio and not sure if tort is involved or not. has scaphocephaly. They both HATE tummy time so I'm hoping I can get some help on that front. What else should I expect from the appt? The woman who scheduled the appt said we'd be there close to 3 hours. I'm feeling more guilt the closer we get to having to go. Being born at 32 weeks they've already endured so much and I feel so crappy that this is just something else I can't protect them from. I am glad though that I was able to find this group and I'm sure with the extra support I'll be ok.
