Guest guest
Hi everybody, Janet, What's Anadin ??? ///Do most of you who have the band live close to the surgeon who did your procedure?/// Dear Lori, I was referred to a surgeon by a doctor in Lausanne, at approx. 50 km (30 miles) from here. The surgeon who operated me is in Lausanne too. Now there is a surgeon who makes this operation is my little town. That's the one who will go to Canada during the summer. So to have my fills I just have to walk 10 minutes from home ... I know, I am again a lucky one ! :-) Lori and Denny, my dear Canadian friends, /// Where exactly is your doctor vacationing? /// I don't know exactly, but as he told me that he would be at approx. 2'500 km from Winnipeg, I take it he will be in Quebec or in the Maritimes. ///I would definitely be interested in your doctor doing my first fill this summer, depending where in Canada he is going./// I can still ask him, but as I have told him you have found somebody in Canada, he will probably say that he won't do your fill. You have to understand that he is not allowed to practice medicine in Canada, and he would have done it just to help in case of real need. /// Perhaps the answer is to find a WLS physician (or two or three) close by wherever that is and get your Dr. to demonstrate the technique of filling and to discuss the technique in general so that we do have access to better follow-up. Do you think he'd be willing to do that? /// Same here. It's more the job of those who sell the band to demonstrate the technique of filling to doctors. Go to physicians and surgeons around you and tell them about the BIG WAVE coming, and they all will want to train on it ... /// I found a closer doctor this afternoon. His name is Dr. Calhucoun and he is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I wonder if your doctor has heard of him. /// I don't remember if he had somebody from Saskatchewan on his list, but I doubt it. Dear Jenelle, It's great to read your story, and to know that everything went well ! Your detailled story is such an information for the future Bandsters, and especially those going to Monterrey !!! I wish you a lot of success in your weight loss ! /// Marina, Post that wonderful picture of yourself on our Web!!! /// Dear Terri, Not before I know better about the privacy of our site ... but thank you for the compliment !!! :-) Dear Lori (again !!!!!!!) :-) Thank you for your tip about the icq. I haven't found this window about the firewall, but I have re-re-re-installed it and it (finally) worked ! phwwwwwwwwww !!! I was really wondering if it was me, my computer, my server or the icq ... Dear Sharon, I know you don't want us just to say that everything will be ok and that we pat you on the shoulder. Just wanted to say that I'm with you and I'll think of you a lot. And if it helps, why not write the letter ? Dear Janet and Zola, If you give me a way to contact you while you are in Lyon (hospital or hotel, or both), I can give you a ring to see if everything is ok. I'd love to do it. And perhaps I can help you with the French ... :-)) What day are you leaving to Lyon and when are you going back ?
