Guest guest
I was just about to order some Lactobacillus Acidophilus - Hypoallergenic and noticed that on the pecanbread website it listed the Kirkman's stuff as illegal: http://www.pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html It does say it's an old list so I'm not sure if it is referring to the same product I've mentioned. I've noticed other people are using this probiotic and wondered if they are having any trouble with it? Perhaps I should play it safe and stick with GIProHealth stuff? Guest guest
I have been using Kirkman Labs L. Acidophilus in capsule form for several years. As far as I can tell the one I get is legal. I don't tolerate yogurt, and am very sensitive to supplements and the label certainly indicates it is legal. http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/ViewProductDetails@Product_ID@182@Product_Group_ID@... If the link doesn't make it, this L. Acidophilus is labeled hypoallergenic, comes in a capsule. If my upper GI is acting up I just empty out the contents of the Acidophilus capsule onto food (everything I eat is lukewarm) and avoid the cellulose. Like other companies, Kirkman Labs has supplements that are illegal. I believe all of the other Acidophilus supplements they offer do contain illegals, but not the one labeled Lactobacillus Acidophilus -- hypoallergenic that is in capsules. GIProHealth also makes a good acidophilus supplement. So does Custom Probiotics as long as you insist on just getting the one bacterial strain. Just read the ingredient listing every time before you purchase acidophilus supplements, just as you do any other supplement. Kim M.
