The first thing you need to do is remember Americans speak relaxed English and

then think about the root of the word(most medical words are of Latin

origin)...pulmo-lungs, internist-internal medicine, the drugs will be hard

because we can categorize them, but even our generic(cheaper/plain) names are

different than our trade(copywrite/expensive) names. No one on

worries about discussing bodily functions or the sluggish lack of so certainly

we will help with translations. As for you being " thick " we feel dense so see

the message is the same. I am now going to " fix " (no it isn't broken, we just

mean prepare) dinner and we are having bangers and mash!
