Guest guest Posted September 30, 2004 Report Share Posted September 30, 2004 The first thing you need to do is remember Americans speak relaxed English and then think about the root of the word(most medical words are of Latin origin)...pulmo-lungs, internist-internal medicine, the drugs will be hard because we can categorize them, but even our generic(cheaper/plain) names are different than our trade(copywrite/expensive) names. No one on worries about discussing bodily functions or the sluggish lack of so certainly we will help with translations. As for you being " thick " we feel dense so see the message is the same.
