Guest guest
Good Morning, I am forwarding what I received from J.D.' s MDA dr's assistant. It has been a year trying to get the Q-10. Since summer, J.D.'s mito has progressed tremendously. His energy level is poor. If someone can help, I would appreciate it. I know the Q-10 is not a cure for mito but I would love to see him with more energy. I love when they say they have been calling, maybe one time. Thanks - Darlene I have been calling you at home to discuss obtaining Coenzyme Q10, but have not been able to reach you. I called Bob Bradham at the MUSC pharmacy, and he said there is no manufacturer assistance available for this. Usually there is assistance available with prescription drugs, but this is available over-the-counter.His suggestion was that you contact the Ladies Benevolent Society. He said they sometimes help with non-prescription medical needs. He did not give me a phone number for them, but perhaps he can give it to you if you call 792-0800.Another option might be to contact Partners for Healthy Children in Columbia. I know they help with prescription drugs, I don't know if they help with over-the-counter. Here is their contact information:Partners for Healthy ChildrenPO Box 100101Columbia, SC 29202-3101 (phone)Maybe even MDA would be able to help. Have you called them?I guess the final suggestion I have is to check the internet. When I searched, I found sites offering buy 1 get 2 free and other similar specials. The link below is for a site that offers no less than 50% off, and up to 60% off if you purchase 3 bottles or more. http://www.puritan.com/pages/file.asp?PID=984 & np=1 & sc=376. I know nothing about this company, it just came up in one of my searches.Let us know if you find out a letter would be needed to obtain assistance.DezaAssistant to Dr.
