Guest guest
Dear Groupies, I have been having problems with my cholesterol (and BP) for some time. In the spring my doc wanted to put me on lipidor, but I didn't want to, knowing it is bad for mito (or, even if I don't have mito- it's bad for heart and muscle, which I have problems with) I convinced the doc to put me on questrin ( a suggestion from Alice) and it has made a bit of a dent in my cholesterol levels. However, i just got a call to come in on Friday to discuss the situation with her, so I know my most recent test level wasn't down enough, Does anyone have any suggestions of something I could combind with the questrin to help with the cholesterol, not bad for mito and not a statin drug. The doc is rather skeptical of my whole condition, particularly the mito idea (dispite what she hears from the other specialists) so I have to dread very carefully here. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance, Celia
