Guest guest
I believe that all the issues are important to mothers of plagio babies. What car seat to buy to stop regression. What types of beds are best all around for support on the head and body. (doesnt hurt if they help prevent a terrible condition SIDS) I find these topics very relivant. They are what keep me coming back to the boards as a parent of a graduate from the DOC band. When I look at these topics I am also able to see new threads and help others who are starting out. Just plagio measurments and decorating are not the topics all members are interested in. Sorry that you do not think these topics are helpful but I do and am sure the other mothers (many of whom are involved in posting about car seats, beds, co sleeping do as well. Plagio does not just affect a childs head, it affects there whole family and mothers are looking to make it the best for them all around. Whether they are in buying beds, traveling with new carseats, or putting on winter hats etc. I find these posts more important than the ones on decorating because that is superfical fun stuff, these other posts really can affect the quality of life for our young children. I would like to see others responses to this post as well. Perhaps the moderator will respectfully reconsider. I am new to all of this and reading those post on car seats, SIDS, and co-sleeeping have help he out a lot. It lets us know what other mothers have tried with their plagio babies that have worked. Guest guest
I have to agree with Tammy, we are parents of children and that means that we worry about more than just the plageo stuff and since we have reached out to each other and support one and other (though it began with plagio) I don't understand why we can't discuss other parent related concners. Ipersonally find it helpful to get opinions from other moms on other child care issues . So I agree as long as the posts are not offensive I don't understand what the problem is in asking child health and development related questions. If there is some thread of discussion going on and I am not interested I don't respond- I pay attention to the posts that are relevent to the information I am seeking. Guest guest
i wasnt going to post since this is technically OT too but since I see several others have now, MHO is that going a bit OT at times keeps the board going, active and interesting. I dont know how some do it that have been on here for years, I have only been on the board maybe 9 months, my son has gone into and out of a band and thanks to the wonderful experienced ladies who stayed I learned so much and have chosen to also stay post band. But I mean it gets kind of boring to just talk measurements, adjustment, positioners, which band/orthotist, casting and decorating over and over and over again with nothing else tossed in there. I mean truthfully these couple things are almost all we talk about that is plagio related. And though I am so greatful ppl answered my questions when they had done it 100 times so I could have gone through the archives to find the answers, so I stay and answer with our experience now too. BUt it sure is nice to throw an occasional something different in there to keep it new and interesting On 1/24/08, Gardner <tinkmommyof3@...> wrote: I agree with Tammy.
