Guest guest
Glenda, I just got back from the dr. I do not have an ear infection, or a cold or anything else. He's sending me to see an ENT tomorrow (my regular ENT is on vacation till Monday, but I can't wait). I have tried everything I can think of to pop it, but no luck. Dr thinks it may be from the RP - God, I hope not! I feel like the fireman who's blind in one eye and can't see out of the other looking for the fire! All I can do is pray, and ask for as many prayers as I can get, I know this group is wonderful for prayers, so thanks in advance for your help. I keep hoping this will just go away, and I am scared. Lots of love, (no laughing matter), Judy O
Guest guest
Judy O. Glad you have a dr. appt. sounds like it could be the RP. I hope it goes away or that it is just an ear infection! Guest guest
Judy, I hope and pray it's not RP in your ears. My daughter has lost her hearing in both ears now. The ENT doctor is going to inject cortisone in one of her ears tomorrow in the hope of restoring some of her hearing. I think he said there was only a 50% chance it would work. Taking prednisone for her was no help, but it might help you. You will be in my prayers tonight. I'm sure everyone else here will also pray for you. God does answer prayer. He has helped several times when things were really bad. I will talk to you later.
