appointment with doctor today

Hello all;

I have an appointment with my doctor today, to find out how big my fibroids are,

and, to determine need for surgery.

I am feeling afraid today. I know that I have them. I have had Vaginal

ultrasounds the past 2 years, and, they are definitely bigger (per Ultrasound

tech).

Anyway, i don't know what all test they actually DO prior to a surgery? Do they

do a biopsy, MRI and laparoscopy?

Maybe someone could share their experience prior to surgery?
