Hi ,

I had my myo on January 6, 2004 and all is well today! I had 13

fibroids removed, three of which were huge! My hospital stay was

three days and from there I went to my sisters home. Both, the

bedroom and the bathroom were located upstairs. So needless to say,

I had to take the hike. It wasn't bad at all, just had to take it

nice and slow. My nephew followed close behind, just to be safe. I

actually climbed the stairs a few times while staying with my sis. I

don't recommend being alone at all for the first week after being

released from the hospital because you might need immediate

assistance. Take full advantage of all the help you can get. My pain

has been and still is minimal. As a matter of fact, I haven't taken

any pain medication since being released from the hospital. I am now

at home, alone and I feel great! I wish you the best of luck!

4 days, so that someone can drive me back to my house ? OR would it

be better to just go to my house after surgery ?

> Either way, I will have someone stay with me the first few nights,

and visitors during the day who will be quiet.

> Also, I tried putting a queen size pillow on top of my

stomach/abdomen and a kitty sat on the pillow instead of on me. It

felt O.k. but I am wondering if this will be enough protection...
