it is also very difficult to adjust rearfacing thus why I didnt recommend it, I had the triumph and took it back b/c the adjustment was pressed up against the seat rearfacing and next to impossible to turn

i have a minivan, I am not the only one though, even ppl who love the seat have said that it is difficult to adjust rearfacing./ for us it was quite easy to put in but rearfacing you could barely turn the knob b/c when it was in tight it was against the seatback. though otoh I have heard ppl who didnt love the seat say they hated it so much they were ready to toss it out the window, leave it in a parking lot, or run it over lol. so I tend to tell ppl who ask about it that it is either a love or hate thing b/c I know ppl who love it and I know ppl who hate it, but dont meet a lot of ppl who say it wasnt my favorite but I could live with it, or its OK, if they didnt like it they REALLY didnt like it.

I happen to love the britax roundabout. It is easy to face backwards only flaw as I see it is it only goes to 40 pounds the other britax go to 60. My 7 month old is 20 pounds and 28 1/2 inches already so I would have gotten a larger capacity bitax if I had to do it again. I have been told that the Britax are tested in Europe and are tested at higher impacts than all others and are considered the industry best. I would go with that. Ithought the same thing, that I should have gotten a bigger Britax, not for weight b/c my last couple were small, 40 lbs at 5½ for my 2nd and my 3rd is even smaller (nowhere near 40 lbs yet) but b/c I keep them in harnesses until at least 40 lbs and they outgrow convertibles in height before that and after using an easy britax I know I oculdnt go back to a Graco or other harnessed booster. so for my 4th I opted for a decathalon instead and my 3rd I am planning to replace her roundabout with a marathon and the new baby will get the roundabout. I think if yuo have LATCH and TETHER Britax is one of the few must haves, I cannot get over the ease of the alligator style LATCH clips with double adjusters soooooooooooooooo much easier than the other kind and even those are easier than a seatbelt. I click click pull, attach tether pull and done. To remove it is like unbuckling, unhook latch then push 2 seatbelt buttons and I'm done. To remove takes about 15 seconds, I can install 2 Britax carseats rock solid in my car in under 5 minutes and that includes carrying them from the house
