Can anyone tell me where you get the memory foam mattresses and how

thick they are? I live in St. Louis, MO. My daughter is getting her

helmet Monday and I thought maybe the memory foam would make her a

little more comfortable but she started rolling over this week, she's

much better at going from her back to tummy so I'm a little worried

about her rolling over at night and getting stuck on her tummy.

Wondering if the memory foam mattresses are thick enough that it could

pose a danger for SIDS if she's not able to turn over.

I use the target memory foam it comes in the white and green box and is 1 1/2 inches thick. We have used it a few months now and my son is a side sleeper. We havent had any issues. I think it is a personal choice whether to try the foam or not. Tammyhniemeyer74 <hniemeyer74@...> wrote: Can anyone tell me where you get the memory foam mattresses and how thick they are? If concerned, then I wouldn't use the memory foam. We didn't and

our son did just fine. Our son actually started sleeping on his

tummy as soon as he got the band. To me it doesn't seem like memory

foam would be firm as recommend by AAP to prevent sids. Also, I

know our ped. doesn't recommend anything other than the crib

mattress for this very reason.
