Yes, your son has made some slight improvement. His Cephalic Ratio, which

measures the brachy, has gone from 92% (13.1/14.3) down to 90% (13.1/14.5).

While the width of his head has stayed the same the length has improved

which is what you want to see. His plagio was mild to begin with - 3 mm

(14.4-14.1) and that has gone down to 1 mm (14.6/14.5) which is great!

What type of band is in? How long has he been in it? The numbers

are going in the right direction so I'm sure that you'll continue to see

some good improvement.

s measurements last week...is this a good change?

I am wondering if these are good numbers..improvement wise...

Here are his measurements we got last week. Pat our Orthotist said this

was good improvement for (he is mild/moderate plagio)..what do

you think?

Date Circum M-L A-P Right A,Left Post Left A-Right Post

3/12 43.7 13.1 14.3 14.4 14.1

3/31 44.1 13.1 14.5 14.6 14.5

Seems like such small change in numbers...but she thought it was great!

His head looks better in the back to me (brachy) but seems higher on

the one side! Maybe just my imagination...

Thanks,

Thanks Molly,

is in the STARband, and he has been in it since March 4th, so

about a month...

It's nice to know what the numbers mean!

You're welcome. I have an explanation of all the measurements on the

STARscan report so let me know if you need anything else.

Ok, thanks!

I know they gave me a sheet with an explanation of terms, but cant

find it. Also the Ortho explained it to me at the time, but by the

time I pulled it out to look at it again, I forgot!
