I stopped in at my employers HR dept Friday..she confirmed my case managers statement about being supplamented (sp) for whatever hours I dont complete at my job up to 40hrs and I brought Ginny with me as a witness regarding this..she said that she has to call my UR person weekly and report my hours to her. I am going today to my dr who I will ask for a " return to wrk " script that states " as tolerated " and will have weight restrictions on it, also I'm going to call my UR rep this week and get in writing a statement that says they will supplament my hours without being penalized. She told me that she needed to get restriction info from the IME dr before I could return, which makes me laugh cuz he never set any restrictions when I was there and the pain clinic dr is the one who took me out of work in June and knows me the best and as well has all my OT notes and knows my progression or lack of, but whatever makes them happy, so long as the IME dr and my dr agree cuz I wont do anymore than MY dr wants from me. It is my hope to work 20hrs a week but it will be a slow return, especially since we are getting into the cold months now. But judging by the position they are offering me sounds like it should be fairly easy for me to maintain decent hours, alot of it is sitdown work because its filing either patient charts or working in the educational office which I was doing a little bit of before I left. Anyway, thats where we stand at the moment. I hope you are doing well Dawn, I havent quite adjusted to the cold weather yet, its causing alot of muscle aches.
