Guest guest
Pam: I sent in a suggestion to Ask The doctor [Lieberman] that he refer people with Parkinsons Plus, MSA, or Shy Drager to this list. I have posted after ********* , at the end of your message below, Dr. L's response to one query along these lines. Do you know if he is aware of our list? They are well aware of MSA and I'm sure would appreciate hearing from us on their forums. Don't forget that many people are diagnosed with Parkinson's before it becomes clear they have MSA. I posted the MSA News article on Dr. Lieberman's forum and he was most appreciative. I am taking co-caroldopa 125mg 3 times daily, 250mg 2 times daily, comtess 200mg 3 times daily, ropinirole 1mg 4 times a day, co-beneldopa as and when required usually 3 times a day, and cipramil 10mg in the morning. These are to alleviate the tremors , rigidity, slowness and lack of balance and co-ordination mainly on the right side of my body. I have had CAT scans and a M.R.I. scan and these show the brain atrophying.Hence the diagnosis of MSA. Can you tell me where I could find on the net/ book/pamphlet further information concerning this disease. Many thanks and a belated Merry Christmas and may 2002 be good to you and your family.
