Scheduled for Surgery w/Dr. Booth

All--

My date is set, my pre-ops done, my work is cleared, and my heart is

ready. I meet with Dr. Kim (doing the surgery with Dr. Booth) on

Thursday which also happens to be my 50th birthday. Then I count

down to Tuesday 2/13/01 at 7:30 AM. Won't be able to make the

support group that evening--but I hope the good folks will hoist a

tofu smoothie for me and all the other DS folks in recovery.

When I slip over to Ocean Springs on Thursday, I hope to stop in to

see Cheri and maybe run into Judi as well. I'll make a final stop to

see and Glen. Though I don't post often, I read the posts

every night without exception. I say prayers nightly, daily for all

who need them, who are encountering difficulties, who need the

support. I thank everyone who has posted for sharing all the

details, good & bad.

So, swing some more chickens and light some more candles--thanks for

it all....
