As I haven't lost weight since early January, and even gained some pounds lately, he wants to check if there is any slippage, or stretched pouch, etc. before filling the band. So I will go back to the hospital on Monday morning, to have an x-ray and hopefully get a fill. Regarding my search for a psychiatrist: I still wasn't able to find a psych, even after a few phone-calls. Really frustrating indeed. My doctor already told me once that he didn't know any psychiatrist specialised in eating disorders. When he saw how desperate I was, he called one of his colleagues in Lausanne and asked him about it. So I've got a name ! I haven't had a chance to call this doctor today, so I will try and do it tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys, so perhaps will I finally get an appointment ! ... Dear , Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. I hope that she can get better finally, or that she will be able to change for a gastric banding. And congratulations to you, with your weight loss. You're doing great ! /// Liking ourselves /// I can't say that I don't like myself ... I can't even say that I don't like my body, because I'm tall and don't have tooooooo bad proportions. And probably, I don't feel in my head as fat as I am (or was). BUT, especially before the operation, if I saw my reflect in a window, or a mirror, or so ... then my day was over. :-( There are also moments when I really don't like myself, or don't trust myself, like when I eat too much because I feel down.
