You have managed to cheer up my morning immensely by catching up with

yesterdays events. What a hoot and to think I am far more educated

about certain subjects now.

Personal replies

I have noticed a few times of late that people have been upset by the

lack of personal replies to their emails. I have been a member of

this list since it's inception and the whole idea of the group is for

it to act as a forum which helps a number of people at once and not

only individuals. Most people only have time to write emails

spasmodically and it is therefore hard to reply to each and every

email ever posted on the site. Please don't take this as a sign you

are being ignored, it is just hard to respond unless you actually

have something interesting to say in response. I would be dismayed

to think that by unsubscribing you will miss out on the opportunity

for support in the future.

I receive about 4 emails a week from complete strangers because of

the profile on the ozband site and often refer them to this site for

further information. I find it hard to find the time to respond to

each and every one of them but try to do so, sometimes it is just not

possible to respond to very query that comes up on the forum.

Regardless of whether we have a band or not, all of us do try as best

we can to respond to each others needs, sometimes it just can't be a

response to every email. I agree that it is also good to just read

some emails and not always respond.

How about meeting me in the Valley for coffee. I could sneak away

from work for an hour or so. Any excuse will do!!

Bandsters

When the big war happened on the bandsters site, a break away group

of Wayne's went and formed another Bandsters list at the Smart Group

web site. They have members from all over the world I have noticed

and are quite a busy litle site.
